Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Edvio platform ("Service") operated by Edvio ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
The Service
Edvio is a lead management and CRM platform designed for education businesses. The Service includes lead capture, automated follow-ups (via SMS and email), pipeline management, landing page creation, ad tracking, call management, reporting, and related features accessible through app.edvio.io.
Account registration
To use Edvio, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your business. Each account is intended for use by a single business entity.
Subscription and payment
Edvio is a paid subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen plan. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan)
- All fees are quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated
- You authorise us to charge your payment method on file for all applicable fees
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
7-day refund policy
If you are not satisfied with Edvio, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription payment. To request a refund, contact us at support@edvio.io within the 7-day period. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. This refund policy applies to first-time subscriptions only. Renewals, upgrades, and additional charges (such as SMS credits or add-ons) are non-refundable.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your access to the platform will be revoked. We will retain your data for 30 days after cancellation, after which it will be permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited messages (spam) via SMS, email, or any other channel
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including data protection laws (UK GDPR, PECR) and telecommunications regulations
- Store, transmit, or process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate business lead management
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of SMS and email features complies with all applicable laws, including obtaining proper consent from recipients before sending communications.
Your data
You retain full ownership of all data you store in Edvio, including lead information, contact details, communication history, and any other content you upload. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You can export your data at any time and request full deletion upon account closure.
Third-party integrations
Edvio integrates with third-party services including Twilio (SMS and calls), Stripe (payments), and Meta (Facebook ad tracking). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services. Any fees charged by third-party providers (e.g., Twilio SMS costs) are separate from your Edvio subscription and are your responsibility.
Service availability
We aim to keep Edvio available at all times but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of planned downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edvio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Edvio harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including the rights of your leads and contacts.
Intellectual property
The Edvio platform, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation, is owned by Edvio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written consent.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that could harm other users or our reputation. In the event of termination for breach, no refund will be issued. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
